Afterward, she appeared in films like "EuroTrip" (2004) and "Ice Princess" (2005), and took on various roles in popular TV dramas such as "Six Feet Under." Her career was revitalized when she portrayed the infamous Georgina Sparks in the popular series "Gossip Girl." Trachtenberg loved playing the villain, once saying, "It’s so much fun to be the bad guy. I enjoy the reactions it gets, and I never understood why some actors shy away from playing such roles."
