Millie Bobby Brown shares the surprising truth behind her real name and why she changed it

At least Millie Bobby Brown won't have to change the initials on her monogrammed towels.

The Stranger Things actress recently revealed that the name she uses professionally isn't actually her real name.

She shared this during a conversation with her Electric State co-star, Chris Pratt, who asked her about her middle name in a joint interview with Buzzfeed.

Brown explained that her middle name is Bonnie, which surprised Pratt. He reacted by asking if her full name was "Millie Bobby Bonnie Brown."

She corrected him, saying that her real name is actually "Millie Bonnie Brown," and added that she'd never shared that information before. She jokingly mentioned that it was the first time anyone was hearing it.

Pratt, clearly surprised, asked why she had used "Bobby" instead of "Bonnie." Brown laughed and explained that it was just for fun. When Pratt inquired if she had changed it for her stage name, Brown confirmed that she had.

Known for her incredible acting talent, Millie Bobby Brown began her career at a young age, gaining widespread recognition when she was cast in Stranger Things at just 12 years old. Her portrayal of Eleven, a girl with psychokinetic abilities, earned her multiple award nominations and made her a household name.

In addition to her acting career, she has become an entrepreneur and activist, launching her own beauty brand, Florence by Mills, and advocating for various causes, including children’s rights and anti-bullying efforts.

The actress has also been fortunate that her initials remain consistent. Last year, she married Jake Bongiovi, 22, the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi.

Their relationship has captured the attention of fans and the media alike, with the couple frequently sharing glimpses of their life together on social media.

Despite her immense success and fame, Millie continues to keep aspects of her life private, revealing this personal detail about her name only in a casual interview.
